Pattern-making

How do I do my patterns?
Well, it's not that tricky...otherwise I couldn't have managed. :D
I preferably use pixel-images, mostly from games, you know, old school nintendo. Haha.
These are easy to convert to cross-stitch. One pixel is one square, easy-peasy. :)
I use Cross stitch pro and Photoshop for my images.
Unfortunately I suck at tutorials but I know there's other people out there that have done the same so google them up. :D
